Keep your skin hydrated this summer!

So... summer is here (not for all of us but still) and I know a lot of people are concerned about keeping their skin hydrated.

I have been doing some research of my own and thought I would share what I found with you all.

Here are 5Top Tips to Keep your Skin Hydrated this Summer.

1. Water
This is something you will have heard somewhere or another, but believe me... it is the best solution! Drink plenty of water to keep both yourself and your skin hydrated. (hint, you may not know this but alcohol decreses the fluid in your body. So compensate for this by drinking extra water).

2. Exfoliate
Yes, this doesn't just get rid of dead skin cells, exfoliating also helps your skin detox by increasing blood circulation and stimulating your glands (helping your body let off natural oils).

3. Healthy Eating
I know, we have all heard this one before. But I dont mean sit there and start a new diet. Eat what you eat now, but add a few summer fruits to your day. Berries, plums etc are filled with antioxidants (plus they taste good and cool you down).

4. Sleep
Now this is one I like. Rest ladies! It will keep you skin happy and refreshed.

5. Moisturising Bath/Shower products
Another easy option. Use products with natural moisturisers to keep you skin hydrated.

Ok, I think these should help for now. There are obviously more options, such as facials, moisturising before you sleep, don't stay in the sun too long (the tan looks good but your skin won't be happy) etc.

I hope this helped!!! ENJOY THE SUN!!!

Exfoliate - The natural way

Have you ever run out of face wash or face scrub at the wrong time?

Well guys, here's a little tip for you: go into your cupboard and pull out some sugar and olive oil....yep! Sugar and olive oil!

For smooth and clean skin (the natural way) try this simple combination that works wonders! First dampen your face with a hot clothe, this will help open up your pores. Then take a little olive oil and rub it onto your face, take some Demerara sugar and gently rub your skin in circular motions and let the sugar do the work (don’t use a lot of pressure). Rinse off with warm water and then use the hot cloth to wipe off the excess oil.

Do this once a week and start seeing the changes!! Go on...pamper yourself!! X
